We had a great stay in Istanbul right by bars, Istanbul, sights and winding streets. Room with the ac and amazing views, for instance. We loved its views of the sea. The location of the apartment was marvellous and excellent for our needs, to the tram. Had a nice coffee at Myterrace Cafe & Restaurant, located 5 minutes walk away.

I stayed there in May 2010, and as it was my first time in Istabul, I appreciated an excellent location of the apartment. All old city sightseeings are in walking distance.Rooms are clean and beds are convenient. I think it's a good place to stay for 3-4 nights to explore old Istabul.

There is no any terrace or balcony, though they are mentioned in the description. Kitchen is ok but we found only 2 old used frying pans and there were no any pots or cofee maker at all. So if you're going to use kitchen for real cooking- forget about it. There is a TV there but only 1 channel is working , and it's in Turkish of course. We had fun when check out- be prepared to have cash to pay for your accomodation. Otherwise you'll have to go to some gift shop and explain there that you are to pay for your accomodation by cerdit card. Be prepare to spend about 30 minutes for the procedure with very nice people:)

good location in historical centre, it was possible to visit highlights by foot, clean rooms, good staff,every day clean towels

website suggests terrace with seaview, this was misleading.there was no terrace or balcony.also other guests had this impression. Disappointing !

The person in charge of the appartments was kind (even though not able to communicate in English).

Room provided was on ground floor with no views at all. ! window to the strate and another one to the inside (some noises during the night)

The location

I stayed in masal apart for 11 nights, the first day was terrible no one was there to host us, the apart only had one worker and the owner. There is no beds enough its nothing like the website. Only 1 double bed and sofa bed and after u ask they bring you an extra bed, although we booked a room for 4 persons. The manager was not friendly and only stayed the 11 nights because I couldn't make a refund.

It is not good for family with children because the apt is located infront of a busy road with too many cars. Have to be extra careful when you are out of the door. Must climb the hill to go to the places to visit. The a-con in the room is not working. The owner cant speak English.

The lady in charge of cleaning was super nice but the manager was not!!! The pictures online were deceiving and we fit shocked when we got there. There were so many issue with building, leaking in toilet not nice furnitures bad a/c system very difficult staicase too climb !!!!!

Like - Rate and location

Do not like - No reception, no telephone, not able to conatct in case of need. One of the ACs was not working.

Great location just 5 minutes walk for Blue mosque,s.sophıa museum,topkapi palace ...room was big and clean.

Able to cook breakfast. Good location to main attractions.

Poor cooking facilites. Not very clean. Travel agent had not heard of when we needed to be oicked up. Shower head collapsed off wall while having a shower.

Loved the location - three small blocks away from the Hippodrome; easy walk to Grand Bazaar. The lady on duty (concierge a& ckeaner used phone to call English-speaking manager whenever communication in English was needed (we speak no Turkish)

some minor maintenance is needed (heaters leak water, shower fitting need re-fixing.

- shuttle service very convenient and good - location is superb i.e. really walking distance to Blue Mosque - cleaning of the apartment, which included dishes and so on; - free wireless internet (ask for the password first) was working very well!; - TV; - view was nice as well

- the hot water was not working properly.. didn't work the 1st night on the 2nd day worked at night but not in the morning until was successfully fixed.. and last day again it didn't have warm water; - the communication was not always easy because there was no reception so we would need to call all the time. - the apartmentas are not new.. but I guess that explains the good price

Shallow wall (noise from upstairs), War with Ant on the floor in the morning. English speaker is not available near you / you should rely on help over the phone....

Nice apartment with a good view. Everythin was clean. There are only4 apartments in this building which are all different. Near the tramway and shopping in Sultanahmet.

The cups and glasses and cooking equipment were not good. It would not need much to uprgrade them. Now they were partly broken or missing so it was a bit hard to cook anything.

Excellent location in the old town, walking distance to all the main sights! comfortable and great value for money!
